Cercia Director, Prof. Xin Yao, gave the opening keynote speech at the 2005 International Congress on Computational Intelligence (ICCI’05), Corporaci\’on Universitaria del Sinu at Monter\’ia, Monter\’ia, Colombia, 10-12 August 2005. While in Monter\’ia, he was interviewed by the local newspapers and TV stations. He was especially invited by the Rector of Universidad del Sinu to give additional presentation on Cercia to University senior staff. He also made a short visit to the National University of Colombia in Bogota.
