Seminars by Professor Zbigniew Michalewicz

12-06-2008 - Professor Zbigniew Michalewicz from The University of Adelaide will be visiting Cercia on 18th-19th June. He will be giving two seminars (details below). You are welcome to attend - both seminars are free. Refreshments will be available. Professor Michalewicz has over 30 years of academic and industry experience. Currently he serves as Chairman of the Board for SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a company specialising in custom software solutions for demand forecasting and scheduling and supply chain optimisation.

Bridging The Gap opening event – Friday, 6th June 2008

23-05-2008 - Bridging The Gap is a major new initiative within the University of Birmingham, designed to establish a long-term base for multi-disciplinary research involving optimization and data mining. This half day event will introduce the project and the opportunities it creates. It will also feature talks from successful practitioners, demonstrating the potential for multi-disciplinary work in this area.
