15-12-2009 - The University has announced plans for a multi-million-pound investment in a new centre for Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Robotics. This pioneering research centre is set to open in 2010 and will allow staff within the School to pursue the scientific links between the functions of the human brain and the field of robotics. The School will also gain a new research team – including a chair, a lecturer and a robotics technician - who will join the existing Intelligent Robotics laboratory.
